CONFERENCE FEES

 

EARLY REGISTRATION: Before and incl. May 15, 2024.

* Registration fee for regular delegates DKK 3075.00 (apprx. EUR 410)
* Registration fee for PhD students (certification required) DKK 1275.00 
  (apprx. EUR 170)
* Registration fee for students (certification required) DKK 375.00
  (apprx. EUR 50)

LATE REGISTRATION: On and after May 16, 2024.

* Registration fee for regular delegates DKK 3450.00 (apprx. EUR 460)
* Registration fee for PhD students (certification required) DKK 1690.00       
  (apprx. EUR 225)
* Registration fee for students (certification required) DKK 600.00
  (apprx. EUR 80)

The regular delegate/PhD student/Student registration fees include:

* Admission to the keynote speakers' lectures and the parallel paper
   sessions.
* Coffee breaks and lunches as listed in the program.
* Wi-Fi access at the conference’s venue.

The opening reception and the conference dinner are not part of the above mentioned fees but can be purchased separately.

* Registration fee for the Opening reception (on August 21, 2024) DKK 115.00
  (apprx. EUR 15)
* Registration fee for the Conference dinner (on August 22, 2024)
   DKK 525.00 (apprx. EUR 70)

The registration fees are incl. VAT (The standard rate of Danish VAT is 25%).

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

If the conference organizers are forced to cancel the conference due to matters related to COVID-19 (or other national/international epidemic/pandemic or other cases of force majeure), no claim can be made for compensation for the expenses registered participants or others may have in this connection towards C-MUS or Aalborg University.

Already paid registration fees can be reimbursed according to below principles:

*Notification of cancellation must be in writing by email and received by the conference secretary (tsan@create.aau.dk) on or before 22 July 2024.

*Cancellations received on or before 22 July 2024 will be refunded 50% of the fees, but deducted an administration fee of DKK 250,-.

*Cancellations received after 22 July 2024 will be non-refundable.

*Non-arrivals will be non-refundable for any reason.

*Substitute participants will be accepted at any time – a name will be required prior arrival from the already registered person.

GDPR (General data protection regulation)

Aalborg University (AAU) is responsible for data in connection with C-MUS Conference 2024 - Mobilities Controversies (in the below called ‘the event’). We ask for your consent to the processing of your personal data.

By registering to the conference, you hereby give your consent to, that AAU, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology may collect and process your name, email and billing address.

For your information, your name/title/organisation may be used in print and in digital media formats (program, social media channels, website and later proceedings).
Pictures/video may be taken/recorded at the event for use in print and in digital media formats (social media channels, website and later proceedings).
On the registration form you can give your consent / not give your consent to the use of your name/title/organisation and pictures and/or video recordings on which you appear (this only apply when you, in specific, occupy a central role in the picture / video).

Your information is collected on the basis of consent, in accordance with Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter a. Your information will not be transferred outside the EU & EEA.

The personal information that you provide on the registration form is registered with AAU, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology in order to ensure professional execution of the event.

Your personal information is used when we contact you in relation to the event and during the event.

Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties.

At any time, you may withdraw your consent for the use of your personal information and specific pictures/videos from the event by contacting conference@c-mus.aau.dk.

Personal information collected through the registration form or pictures/videos taken/recorded at the event, will be retained for as long as is necessary for the purpose of obtaining your consent and in accordance with applicable law.

Have we already with your consent publicized your personal information or pictures/videos with your participation, you do not have the right to have them deleted retroactively.

We expect to delete, anonymize or archive your personal information / pictures / videos by 01.01.2026.

When we process your personal data, you have several rights under the Data Protection Regulation. This means, among other things, that you have the right to deletion and data portability.

In certain cases, you have the right to access, rectify, limit and object to our processing of the personal data covered.
